Hoet explores new horizons
Hoet Design Office has designed a new display for BONAMI – manufactorer of shop window mannequins. This combination of creativity and expertise resulted in the development of the original and multifunctional ‘CONE’ display. CONE is a ludic figure inspired on a game of skittles; a never-ending game as the skittle cannot be knocked over... it balances. The transformed skittle can be used for displaying a variety of items; a pair of (sun) glasses, a hat or cap and a necklace. Or it can be used for strictly decorational purposes. Display design is by no means unknown ground for Hoet; in the past they already developed several spectacle displays for Theo. But the design office also designs by order of numerous companies. The cooperation with Bonami is new and will probably not be limited to this single project. The display will be available as from August 2006 at different locations, including Hoet Design in Dansaertstraat, Brussels, and Hoet Optiek in Vlamingstraat, Bruges.
