Cooperation with Deknudt
Hoet was commissioned by Deknudt Decora to design an exciting new wall concept. A mirror and a lamp: Horus and Isis. This poetic duo, which is made from thin strips of shiny metal and mirror glass, looks stylish and elegant. The incident light, the reflection, the sense of space, the tension in the frame and the colours of immediate environment get full scope. Thanks to the curved frame and the exquisitely rounded shapes the mirror flows, as it were, across the wall. The lamp and the mirror also play out another game: that of seeing and being seen, of reflection and symbiosis.
