In early March, Patrick Hoet and his daughter Bieke will be making their annual trip to Milan to participate in the international optics trade fair, Mido. Together with their team, they will be presenting their stylish eyewear and other eyecatchers to an international public. The modern classic Hoet eyewear collection on the one hand, and the playful displays and accessories on the other, perfectly encapsulate what this Bruges design studio is all about.
The Mido optics, optometry and opthamology exhibition takes place in Milan, Italy, in the first weekend of March. For optics professionals, it is the most important event of its kind in Europe. For father and daughter Hoet, it is, therefore, an unmissable opportunity to present and promote new designs from Patrick Hoet’s own eyewear collection in the Italian fashion capital. They will be showing four new frames in inox, designs that reinforce Hoet’s reputation for timeless contemporary style. The glasses are priced in the higher category and characterised by exclusivity, elegance and stylishness. The Hoet collection is independent from the Theo glasses, which Patrick Hoet remains responsible for designing.
Eyecatchers
In addition to eyewear collections, the Bruges design studio Hoet also creates a range of optics related eyecatchers. From hand mirrors and original jewellery to displays and accessories, the designs are uniquely geared to the optics world. Daughter Bieke steers this aspect of the business, and with spring approaching, her Cabriolet sunglasses will soon be enjoying its place in the sun once more. This eyecatcher falls somewhere between a pair of sunglasses and a sun visor and is perfect for a game of golf, a cycle ride or a stylish day at the beach.
