When the design bug bit us it was natural that our first instinct as opticians was to design glasses. We set up a company, Theo, in 1987 together with Wim Somers from Antwerp. Since then, the Theo label (an anagram of Hoet) has won international acclaim within the glasses business.Since 1995 we have had our own design office where we create glasses on an independent basis for the Theo company.We create glasses, which emphasize the identity of the person who wears them. Glasses for the cheerful positive ones (theo) and for the serene introverted observers (eye-witness).
